Porridge with plums, blueberries and maple syrup.


Porridge is a great and very healthy way to start the day. The oats and fruit will keep you full until lunchtime and is so easy to do! 

To make this quick dish you will need 

1/2 cup of Porridge Oats
1 cup of Semi Skimmed Milk
Some Plums
Handful of Blueberies
A Drop of Maple Syrup

To make the porridge, add the oats and milk to a pan and cook on a medium heat, the oats and the ,milk will combine to create the porridge, once the oats are cooked and soft they are ready! This should take no more than a couple of minutes. 

Cut the plums in half and remove the stones and chop into slices. 

Pour the porridge into a bowl, drizzle some maple syrup over the top and add the plums and a handful of blueberries and we are done! 

You can of course use any type of fruit you like, I often use a banana if I don't have blueberries or plums available. Eat this and you will feel full until lunch!
